Evie O’Neill has been exiled from her boring old hometown and shipped off to the bustling streets of New York City—and she is pos-i-tute-ly ecstatic. It’s 1926, and New York is filled with speakeasies, Ziegfeld girls, and rakish pickpockets. The only catch is that she has to live with her uncle Will and his unhealthy obsession with the occult.

MY THOUGHTS

 I kept hearing good things about The Diviners and I just couldn't wait to read it. 

 I am so glad I read it because I love this book and I just couldn't put it down.  It is over 500 pages so it took me a few nights to finish it.

 The Diviners is a well written creepy book that gets you hooked .  I don't think I have ever read historical fiction that takes place in the 1920's but now I want to read more.   

 Only bad thing about this is that now I have to wait until book number two comes out.  I don't want to wait but unfortunately I will have to. 

 I highly recommend this if you are into historical fiction that takes place in the 1920's and paranormal.
